Rafael Yepes

Rafael Yepes, who just celebrated his 81st birthday, passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Maria Libia. He was born in Medellin, Colombia, a son of the late Rafael Yepes and Rosa Maria Reaza and has lived in the Blackstone Valley for more than 30 years. He had been the owner and operator of a fine jewelry store, 'Joyeria Onix' on Dexter Street on Central Falls for 15 years 

Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Gloria and Olga Yepes both of Pawtucket and five sons, Luis and Rafael Yepes of Pawtucket, Gustavo of Colombia, Juan Carlos and Javier both of Tampa, Florida and was the father of the late Elkin Yepes. He also leaves a brother, Guillermo and a sister Margarita Yepes both in Colombia, 17 Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, 69 Quincy Avenue Pawtucket on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 at 4 PM in the afternoon.
