Oscar Mendez Santiago

Oscar Mendez Santiago, 66, of Woonsocket passed away February 14th in Providence after an illness. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Damian Mendez and Josefina Santiago. He had been a construction worker all his life until his illness.

He is survived by two daughters, Marangely Torres of Pawtucket and Marieli Mendez of Providence; two sons, Oscar Mendez of Woonsocket and Richard Alvez of Pawtucket. He also leaves three sisters and three brothers all in Puerto Rico and 11 Grandchildren and a Great Grandson and several nieces and nephews.

His FUNERAL will be hed Wednesday at 9 AM from the Coelho Funeral Home in Central Falls with a Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Rte 3, West Greenwich, RI
