Michael A. Porter

Michael A. Porter, 67 years old, passed away at home July 25th, after an illness. He was born in Providence, a son of the late George and Ann E. (Madden) Hendricks. Mr. Porter was also the step son of the late Anthony E. Hendricks. Michael had been employed as a truck driver for several years before retiring. He had lived in No. Kingstown for the last 15 years and previously lived in Coventry.

He is survived by his son, Michael A. Porter USMC, of No. Providence and a daughter Jessica Angel Penloza of Zodiak, Alaska.  He also leaves five sisters, Ann E. Porter Carr of Coventry, Alice E. Porter Santos, Mary F. Duquette and Jennifer J. Hendricks, all of No. Kingstown, L. Traci Hendricks Hayes of Marianna, Florida, a sister-in-law  Kathy Porter of Hopkington, RI, and a brother-in-law Roland Duquette of No. Kingstown, RI. In addition , Mr. Porter was the brother of the late George L. Porter III and Louis F. Porter. He was the Grandfather Bianni and Isabella Penloza. He also leaves 14 nephews and nieces and was the uncle to 8 Great Nieces and Nephews, and a Great Great Niece and Nephew. 

A Funeral Prayer Service WAS held FRIDAY morning at 11 AM in the Coelho  Funeral Home, Central Falls. Relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend and may visit from 9 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Noosseneck Hill Rd. (Rte 3) West Greenwich.
