Maria Hilda Vicente, 90, formerly of Cowden Street in Central Falls, passed away Sunday at Hopkins Manor after an illness. She was the wife of the late Marcos Vicente, who predeceased her, last August. She was born in Maimon, the Dominican Republic, a daghter of the late Ramon and Angelica Ramirez. She had lived in Central Falls several years prior to her illness. She had been previously employed as a seamstress.
She is survived by her Granddaughters Angelica Lammers of Providence and Jennipher Vicente of Cranston and 3 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves 4 sisters, Catalina Ramirez of Warwick, Minerva Lopez of Laredo, TX, Modesta Ramirez of Bronxville, TX, and Orfelina Almonte of New York, NY. She also leaves a brother, Rafael Ramirez in the Dominican Republic.and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Maria Elena Vicente, who passed away in 1986.
VISITATION, FRIDAY evening, 5 until 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will beheld Saturday at 9:30 AM in Holy Spirit Church, 1030 Dexter Street Central Falls followed by interment in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
