Hector Manuel Velez

Hector Manuel Velez age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday after an illness. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Luis Velez and Franchesca Rivera. Hector has lived in the Pawtucket area several years and had been employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Eileen Velez of Central Falls, Laura Velez of New York and Jacqueline Velez of Springfield, MA. he also leaves  3 sons, Hector Velez of New York, Jose Velez of Smithfield, RI and Billy J. Velez of Pawtucket. He was the father of the late Yolanda Ramirez.  Mr. Velez also leaves a brother Efrain Velez of New York and 4 sisters, Carmen Perez of Boston, MA, Maria Dolores Velez , Luisa Velez and Sonia Velez all of New York, 29 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Roberto "Tito" Velez, Alfredo Velez and Carlos Rivera.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on WEDNESDAY EVENING from 5 until 8 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:30
