Gladys J Patino

Gladys J. Patino, 88, of North Providence and formerly of Pawtucket passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. Born in Colombia, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Maria (Solano) Patino. Gladys came to the United States in 1969, moved to Central Falls for 15 years eventually settled in Pawtucket.  She was a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Spirit Parish for many years and enjoyed her trips back to Colombia.

Gladys was loved by all and what she loved most of all was the time she spent with her family, especially the time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three children, Jose Torre and his wife Gladys, Luz Hayward and her husband, Tom, Isabel Jaskierny and her husband, John, 17 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her former husband, Arcadio Torres. She was the sister of the late Ligia Rabat, Josefina, Carlos, and Jorge Patino.

The funeral will be held Saturday, December 30th at 8:30AM from the Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross Street, Central Falls, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter Street, Central Falls. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-7PM in the Coelho Funeral Home. www.coelhofuneralhome.net
