Dr. Rozaliya (Nosovskaya) Sterninson

Dr. Rozaliya Sterninson, of Providence, passed away peacefully at the age of 91, with her loving family by her side last Thursday after an illness. Ms, Sterninson migrated to the United States 27 years ago and settled in Providence. She was born in Vitesbsk, Belarus a daughter of the late Isaak Nosovskiy and Riva (Koldobskaya) Nosovskaya. She was a Medical Doctor all her life until retiring when she came to Rhode Island. She was a theatrical enthusiast, including music, dance and acting. She also was an avid reader and was very proud of her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roman Sterninson, just two years ago.

She leaves a daughter, her principal care giver, Larisa Lutskiy of Pawtucket, two Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren. She was also predeceased by two brothers.

Her Funeral will be held on MONDAY at 11 O'Clock from the Historic Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery and interment will follow in the family lot.
