Dorothy G. Elie, of Wilfred Manor in Central Falls,, passed away Wednesday at Miriam Hospital in Providence after an illness. She was the widow of Robert Benoit and the wife of the late Lucien Elie. Dorothy was born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Omer and Agnes (Dubiel) David. She was a lifelong resident of the city and had been employed at Interpak of Pawtucket for several years until retiring due to illness. She was a member of the Wilfred Manor Tenants association and a former communicant of the former Notre Dame Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane A. Gardner of Central Falls and two sons, Robert Denis of Pawtucket and William Denis of Central Falls, 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard and Leo Denis.
VISITATION in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, Saturday from 12 noon followed by a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 2 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
