Delfin Medina

Accidentley in Central Falls, Delfin Medina, who would have celebrated his 76th birthday in 4 weeks, was fatally injured in a trajic auotmobile mishap Monday afternoon. He was the beloved husband of Zenobia (Vargas) Medina. He was born in San Juan, the Dominican Republic, a son of the late Eulogia Medina. He had been employed as a police officer in San Juan for many years before migrating to the United States 21 years ago, and has lived in Central Falls for the last 13 years.

Besides his wife, Delfin leaves two daughters, Maria Diaz of Pawtucket and Ana Medina of Manhattan, NY, two sons, Julio Medina of Central Falls and Pedro Medina of Pawtucket, eleven Grandchildren and a Great Granddaughter. He is also survived by a sister, Debarita, and a brother, Armando Medina both in the Dominican Republic, nieces and nephews.

VISITATION will be Friday morning, in the CHARLES COELHO Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, from 9 AM,  prior to a Requiem Eucharistic Funeral Service in Saint George's Church, Clinton St. at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are  welcome to attend. Interment will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, 585  Blackstone Blvd. Providence
