Charles E. Black, passed away peacefully last Wednesday after an illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline Marie Black. Charles was born in Providence, a son of the late Patrick and Hariet Black. He had lived most of his life in No. Providence where he had been employed by the No. Providence Police as a dispatcher. He also had worked in the Army recruiting offce for 2 years, after serving four years in the US Air Force, from 1968 until 1972 and was discharged as Sergeant.
Charles leaves his only daughter, Ashley June Beauregard and her husband Michael of Pawtucket he also leaves a step daughter, Lisa Plummer of Pawtucket and 2 step sons, Donald St. Germain of Pawtucket and Mark St. Germain of Woonsocket; three step sisters, Christine Rochon Sauro of Johnston, Carol and Claire Rochon of Cranston, seven Grandchildren, a Great Granddaughter, nieces and nephews. and numerous friends.
A Funeral Prayer Service will be held Saturday June 9th at 9:30 AM in the Coelho Funeral Home, Central Falls. Inurnment for Charles and Pauline will take place with Military Honors at the Columbarium Chapel in the RI Veteran's Cemetery, So. County Trail. Exeter, RI. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
