Blanca Vargas Obituary

Blanca Lydia Vargas, 85 years old, passed away at the Hope Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, RI, after an illness. Blanca was born in Toalta, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Modesta Cosme. She was a home maker devoted to her family and had lived in Rhode Island several years. She previously lived at Oak Hill Center in Pawtucket for the last 6 months and prior to that at the Charlesgate Nursing & Rehab facility for 1 and a half years.

She was the mother of Armando Merced Jr. of Pawtucket, Miguel and Victor Merced of Puerto Rico and Nieldy Merced of New York. She also leaves, Migdalia Torres and Carmen l. Merced of Pawtucket and Blanca and Beatriz Merced of Providence, 20 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held by the family at a future date.
