Alda (Craveiro) Quadros

Alda Quadros, 89 years of age, passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital  with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Frederico Quadros. Alda was born in Esmolfe, Penalva do Castelo, Portugal, a daughter of the late Arnaldo Lopes  Craveiro and Palmira do Amaral Craveiro. She and her family migrated to the United States in 1974 and settled in Central Falls. She moved to Pawtucket in 1986 where she has resided since. Alda had been employed as a machine operator at Hasbro and also at Conrad Jarvis companies.

She is survived by five daughters, Graca Maria Jorge and her husband Joaquim Jorge and Manuela Fernandes and her husband Joaquim all of Portugal, Maria Conceicao daCosta and her husband Manuel, Isabel Carreiro and her husband John and Alice Q. Belinsky and her late husband Frank all of Cumberland; also four sons, Miguel  Quadros and his wife Linda, Jose Quadros and his wife Maria and Antonio Quadros and his wife Carla all of Cumberland and Luis Quadros and his wife Ana of Pawtucket. She also leaves three sisters, Lucia Silva of Portugal, Dalia Duarte and Lucinda Ferreira both of Central Falls and four brothers, Horacio  and Aurelio Craveiro both of Portugal and Manuel Craveiro of Central Falls, and Antonio Joao Craveiro of No. Providence. She was the Grandmother of 20 grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 19 Great Grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held THURSDAY at 9 AM from the Charles Coelho Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curren Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend. VISITATION,  WEDNESDAY in the Funeral Home from 5 until 8 PM.
