Armand Joseph Rocheleau, of Clinton Street, Central Falls, died Saturday February 20, 2010 after suffering a heart attack at home. Armand died after doing what he loved best, washing his car.
He was the beloved husband of Jeanne L. (Laliberte) Rocheleau and was married for 56 years.
Armand was born in Central Falls, a lifelong resident of the city. He was a son of the late Joseph and Alice (Larivee) Rocheleau. He had been employed by Rowe Vending Co. for many years as a vending machine mechanic until he suffered a heart attack 18 years ago. He was fortunate to be gifted in many fields of mechanics. As his hobby, he was an automobile enthusiast and owned several antique vehicles, which were entered in several auto shows. His prize posession was a 1958 baby blue Ford Thunderbird, that was restored with all original Ford Motor parts.
Besides Armand's loving wife Jeanne, he also leaves his devoted son Robert, nieces and nephews.
Out of respect for Armand's wishes, all funeral arrangements were strictly private. He was interred in the family plot at Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.
