Norman A. Alves, 81, passed away Wednesday after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Rosamond (Broadmeadow) Alves.
He was born in Fallriver MA. a son of the late Manuel and Maria (Borges) Alves. He had lived in Central Falls many years bvefore moving to Cumberland. He had been employed as a production scheduler at Texas Instruments for 26 years before retiring in 1991.
He leaves 2 sons, Donald E. Alves of Cumberland with whom he made his home and Michael N. Alves of Lincol, 2 brothers, Frank Alves of Cumberland and Tony alves of Florida;3 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturdat at 9 AM from the Coelho Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland, VISITATION, Friday, 5-8 PM
