Idelberto Cabral Pacheco, 57, of Evaleen Street in Central Falls, died Tuesday at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston after a long battle with liver disease. He was the husband Debora A. (Ferreira) Pacheco and had been married 37 years.
He was born in Sao Miguel the Azores, Portugal a son of Irondin (Torres) Pacheco and the late Idelberto Pacheco.
Mr. Pacheco has lived in Cumberland and Central Falls most of his life.He had been employed as a machine operator at the former American Insulated Wire Co. for 37 years retiring in November of 2008 due to illness.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves a daughter, Jennifer Cabral of Central Falls and a son Christopher Pacheco also of Central Falls; 3 sisters, Ana Fox of Michigan, Manuela Soares of Fall River, Massachusetts and Lydia Arruda of Pawtucket, a brother Luis Pacheco of No. Smithfield. He was also the grandfather of Jordan Cabral and Adrian Pacheco. He was the brother of the late Francelina Soares and Jose Pacheco.
Relatives and friends are ivited to a Funeral Prayer Service on Saturday evening in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls. Visitation, Saturday from 5 until 8 PM.
