Biography

Elia N. Rivera, 71, of Central Falls, died peacefully January 1, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of RI after an illness. She was the wife of the late Juan Alberto Flores.
Elia was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Liborio Rivera and Juanita Ortiz.
She leaves a son, Daniel Flores of Central Falls, her principal caregiver, 4 daughters, Virginia Echevarria of Woonsocket, Luly Echevarria and Betty Rivera both of Pennsylvania and Catherine Suarez of Pawtucket, a sister Nellie Rivera also of Pennsylvania and 4 Brothers, Hector, Salvador, Moses and Willie Rivera and 10 Grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday in St, Matthew's Church, 1025 Dexter Street Central Falls at 9 AM. Burial will be in St. Raymond's Cemetery, the Bronx, New York with her parents.
