Jaime Vazquez, of Central Falls, passed away at Miriam Hospital in Providence after an illness. He was the husband of the late Francisca Vazquez who passed away in 2007.
He was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Ricardo and Chana Delgardo. He has lived in the Blackstone Valley area for the last 30 years. He had been employed as a factory worker in the manufacturing industry for several years before retiring. Jaime enjoyed playing Dominoes, watching Law and Order and also loved cooking, especially his famous 'pig roasts'.
He is survived by 2 sons, Jaime Jr. and Eduardo Vazquez both of Central Fall, also 2 daughters, Reina Castellanos of Central Falls and Mayra Vazquez of Cranston. He was the last of seven siblings. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and 12 Great Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 PM in the Coelho Home. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curren Rd. Cumberland. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
