Jane Elizabeth Cute, of Riverside and formerly of Pawtucket, entered into eternal life on June 21, 2015 after an 18 month courageous battle with cancer. She passed away at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the loving wife of Scott E. Cute. Jane was born in San Francisco, California, a daughter of Shirly Smith and the late Maynard Smith. She has lived in Rhode Island most of her life and had been employed as a bartender and waittress at different area restaurants in the state for several years until her illness forced her to retire.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves a son Jason Brunette and his wife Brandi Whitelaw of Pawtucket, a brother Joseph and his wife Hope Smith of Hopkington, Rhode Island, two sisters, Cindy Smith of Pawtucket and Mitzy Harvey of Ohio and a granddaughter Jailyn Brunette.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 from 5 until 7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
