Jacqueline R. ("Jackie") Letendre

Jacqueline R. "Jackie" Letendre, retired former Deputy Sheriff for the Sate of Rhod Island, formerly of Arrow Street Central Falls, passed passed away on Tuesday. She was the wife of the late Raymmond Letendre, former Central Falls Councilman and former State Senator.

She was born in Central Falls, a lifelong resident of the cty, she was the daughter of the late Telesfore and Lucienne (Choquette) Pion. Jackie was very active in local politics and also held the position of Welfare Director for the City of Central Falls for several years.

She is survived by, Tracie Andrade, her niece and principal care giver, and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Saturday at 9 AM. Burial will follow in the family lot at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave. Pawtucket.
