Harold F. Painter, 53, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2016 after a battle with Myotonic Dystophy. Harold was the beloved husband of Charlene A. (Traverse) Painter and had been happily married for the last 32 years. Harold had faith in the Lord and was a good kind man. He spent much time reading the Bible. He was a member of Faith & Hope Baptist Church of Providence.
He was born in Providence a son of the late Earl Hansfort Painter and Bessie better known as "Betty" Marion (Jacobson) Painter and lived in Providence until moving to Riverside in 1997. Besides his loving wife, he leaves a son, David K. Wood of Phoenix, AZ, a sister Gail S. Weidman of Glendale, AZ. and a brother Allan Morein of No. Providence, two nephews, Kyle and Joshua Morein of Providence and 2 Grandsons Christopher and Zachary Wood of West Warwick and their mother Kim. He was the brother of the late Paul N. Painter.
A Memorial Service will be held SUNDAY at 3PM in Faith & Hope Baptist Church, 93 Stanwood St, Providence, RI
