Gerard Clemenceau Coicou, 63, of Pawtucket and formerly of Cranston, passed away after an illness. He was the husband of Sonie (Andre) Coicou. Gerard was born in Cape Haitien, Haiti, a son of the late Letroy Coicou and Marie Sinaie (Joseph). He and his family lived in Cranston several years before moving to Pawtucket just about a year ago. He had been employed as a machinist and a truck driver pryor to his illness.
Besides his wife, he leaves, a stepson A. Robert Dorsanail of NJ also 9 daughters, Casandra and Cythia Coicou of Montreal, Medjine and Gersie Coicou both of Central Falls, Sofia Coicou of Florida, Gerardine Coicou of Providence, Daphne Coicou of Warwick, Thaina Coicou of Laval, Canada and Sonie Coicou at home in Pawtucket. He also leaves 2 sisters, Gladys Dondin in Florida and Magalie Coicou of Canada, and 3 Grandchildren.
VISITATION, THURSDAY from 5 until 8 PM in the Coelho Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Friday at 11AM in St. Kevin's Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
