Carol Ann Ryan

Carol A. Ryan, 68, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away Monday at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford surrounded by those who love her, after a valiant fight with cancer. She was the wife of the late Ralph Ryan.

Carol was born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Wallace and Rita (Coyle) Peckham. She was a home maker and had lived most of her life in the Blackstone Valley area. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and her ‘Buddy Boy’ and was always willing to try her luck at the casino and bingo.

 She is survived by 2 daughters, Stacey DeMello and her husband David of Dartmouth, MA and Jacqueline Richmond of New Bedford; 2 sons, Preston Corbin and his wife Cheryl  of Lincoln, RI and Dennis Darbyshire of New Bedford. She also leaves a sister Rita Jette of Florida, 3 brothers, Wallace Peckham of Central Falls, Ralph Peckham of  Pawtucket and Timothy Peckham of AK. and 4 Grandchildren, Tyler DeMello, Ryan and Nathan Corbin and Shallyn Richmond. She was the sister of the late Frank and Raymond Peckham.

VISITATION at the CHARLES COELHO Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, on Wednesday, from 6:30 PM with a Service of Remembrance at 8 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
